Here's some pictures from the last couple weeks at AWR. Basically we are getting the ground work done so the South Africans can put the new antenna up - hopefully within a few weeks. Here the new tower sections are ready to be put up.

We were fortunate to get most of the holes poured last week
Unfortunately we weren't able to get the last holes poured because of a cement shortage, so we had to do them by hand...

Pouring the base for the counterweight took 6 1/2 pallets of cement and lots of water (and sweat)
Glad to be done on Sunday afternoon. Time to go home and take a shower!
